Do you mean was she really baptized in a garbage can? Yes. Did she actually say it? Yes. Not yesterday, but a while ago when we were on our way to some baptisms.
wait? was it true, or not? WHERE WAS KATY BAPTIZED? IN WHAT? Those are some important questions.
The quote is true. We were talking about how they don't baptize people in our pond anymore because the dock (for the priests to stand on and stay dry) disintegrated a few years ago. Then Katy said "I was baptized in a creek," as though she were remembering this beautiful, natural experience. Then she realized it was a LIE - that it was a friend who was in the creek - and somehow she thought it had happened to her. Katy was baptized in a garbage can.
I had no idea this post would be so confusing!
